Love Junkie

After 25 years of being on this earth I have come to the realization that I am a love junkie. To put it simply I love well, love.  From crying at sappy commercials to reading period pieces about long lost love, I’m hooked. Which is great because I picked a profession that has me surrounded by it constantly. So as you can imagine I was very happy when my brother asked me to photograph his intimate wedding. He lives in the beautiful city of Seattle with his now wife Kay.  They are beyond perfect for each other and I couldn’t …

New Beginnings in the Sunshine State

My boyfriend, dog-daughter, and I recently moved to the sunshine state from the hustle and bustle of NYC. We landed in our new city Orlando just 7 days ago, and I couldn’t wait to take advantage of some of the beautiful parks that this city has to offer.  I didn’t have to wait very long thankfully because my first photoshoot was scheduled for today.  After living in an urban jungle, you really start to appreciate how beautiful a simple park can be. In florida, everywhere you turn there is a park, a lake, a cobble stone street shaded by trees …

How To Spend 48 Hours In Cappadocia

So you know those crazy air balloon pictures you see in a mythical place called ‘Love Valley’ that’s all over the internet? Well, I am happy to say it is not mythical, because I was lucky enough to go explore it myself. Don’t get me wrong, even when I got there I was questioning if I just had an Oculus Rift on. It was stunningly beautiful and I am so happy to share my experience. My friends Emily, Jacob and I all stayed in the Melek Cave Hostel in Göreme, Cappadocia; a volcanic landscape sculpted by erosion. It is known as ‘fairy …

Five Days of Friends, Culture, and Kebabs in Istanbul.

Hey Everyone! My dear friends, Emily and Jacob, left NYC for good to travel the world with just whatever they could carry for 18 months. They have set up an impressive travel blog with tips and tricks for every place they have gone to. I was fortunate enough to tag along for two weeks in France and Turkey. First things first, Istanbul is huge. Fifth largest city in the world to be exact. It is the only city that spans two continents, Asia and Europe. With that said, I would suggest creating a bit of an outline of things to …

A Nice Time in Nice, France.

The city of Nice, France made my life really easy. It may be one of the most beautiful places in the world and I was able to just snap away with everything looking like it was staged just for me! The markets to start, were so bright and full and perfect. The city itself was rich in culture and cobblestones and cheesemongers. The infamous French Riviera was even more beautiful than any photographs I’ve seen. If it’s not on your list of places to see, I recommend you start changing your list! My favorite thing to do in Nice was grab …
